"A Summer Home in Logan, Utah
We are from Arizona and this is our third summer in Logan. We heard about
the program at Utah State University for summer citizens and stayed at
PineView Apartments for most of three years. We have taken classes and gone
to most of the operas, some of the Lyric Theatre productions, children's
opera and the many free concerts. We have enjoyed the beautiful mountain
scenery in the canyons near Logan and have gone to the Sawtooth Mountains,
Tetons and Canyonlands. In addition to the scenery, classes and culture
here, Bill enjoys the trout fishing and Barbara enjoys beading. We have
enjoyed it so much that we decided to buy a summer home here and extend the
time we can stay in Logan to stay out of the Arizona heat and to enjoy the
fall colors here.
Mary Ann Grover of First Choice Realty made the process of buying a home
here a real pleasure. She is knowledgeable about the area and the
procedures involved in such a purchase. The home inspector described her as
"too honest." Now, how can a realtor be too honest (especially representing
us, the buyers)? There was no pressure to buy and she was very sensitive to
what we wanted. We started looking for a condo and ended up buying a cozy
little brick home in a friendly neighborhood. The entire Logan community is
so friendly and courteous. We are happy and proud to make this our second
home, our home away from home.
